Country Singer/Songwriter Jerry Kobishop’s favorite singer has always been John Denver, and Kobishop believes our world needs to hear Denver once again to remember his legacy of promoting worldwide peace and humanity.
In cooperation with John Denver’s music publisher, Kobishop is able share the original songs as we remember them and take us back in time via a video production of the many places and things John Denver loved so much.
During this 25th anniversary of John Denver’s death, join Kobishop in a multi-media sing-a-long celebration of John Denver’s music, perfect for young and old alike.
A donation from each show will support worldwide charitable causes, including the crisis in Ukraine at this time. For more information see “John Denver Remembered” on Facebook.
About Show Creator Jerry Kobishop
Jerry Kobishop has been singing along with songs of years past for as far back as he can remember. As a young boy his mom would listen to him sing along with songs on the old cabinet stereo in their living room saying, “You’re gonna be on the Ed Sullivan Show some day.”
Kobishop wrote his first song, “Clapping in the Crowd”, in part the night his mother passed away at the young age of 49. The song became his signature song as he shared the National Country Music stage several times during the 1980s and 90s. Kobishop is also proud to have participated in the Walt Disney American Idol competition and to have auditioned for The Voice in years past. He has also performed the National Anthem at Lambeau Field for the NFL’s Green Bay Packers.
