Wisconsin Presenters Network Elects Ashwaubenon Performing Arts Center’s Kate Williams as Chairperson

The Wisconsin Presenters Network (WPN) elected Kate Williams, Executive Director of the Ashwaubenon Performing Arts Center, to serve as Co-Chairperson of the organization effective September 18, 2025. Serving in tandem with Williams is John Hassig, Executive Director of the Schauer Arts Center in Hartford, Wis.

Williams previously served as WPN Chairperson from 2015-2017. Hassig also previously served as WPN Chairperson from 2010-2015. Together Williams and Hassig will serve as Co-Chairpersons for a term of two years, 2025-2027.

As leaders each with previous experience in the chairperson role, Williams and Hassig will guide WPN forward, expanding resources and amplifying collaborations with other wide-reaching arts organizations including Arts Midwest, Wisconsin Arts Board, and Association of Performing Arts Professionals. Williams and Hassig will also mentor emerging leaders in the arts presenting field to become successive board members and chairpersons for the WPN organization.

Founded in 1981 in Madison, Wis., the Wisconsin Presenters Network (WPN) is the oldest consortium of performing arts presenters in the nation. WPN exists to support and enhance the activities of individuals and organizations presenting the professional performing arts by serving as an operational and programmatic resource to its membership. Supporting presenters beyond Wisconsin’s state borders, WPN also represents member individuals and organizations in the surrounding states of Minnesota, Michigan, Illinois, and Iowa.
