For the first time in its 10-year history, the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center’s Center Stage High School Musical Theater Program will host a dance and musical theater workshop at Ashwaubenon Performing Arts Center on Saturday, November 1. Led by industry professionals Molly Maher-Lucareli and Jarrod Michael Pfarr, the high-energy workshop gives students participating in the Center Stage program a chance to build dance technique, confidence, and collaboration skills.
“The magic of live performing arts can be both inspiring and transformative for high school students,” said Fox Cities Performing Arts Center Education Programs Manager Sammi Stelzl. “We’re thrilled to give students these experiences to explore what excites them, challenge themselves, and grow as artists.”
The workshop will be taught by industry professionals Molly Maher-Lucareli and Zachariah Stearn, who have been leading workshops for Center Stage Program students since 2022.
“This workshop will give students an opportunity to dive into the fundamentals of dance in a fun, supportive setting,” added Maher-Lucareli. “Students will train in a fast-paced, supportive environment where they’ll strengthen their technique, build confidence, find their artistic voice, and learn to lift one another up as performers.”
“We’re thrilled to partner with the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center to bring this workshop to Ashwaubenon for the first time,” said Kate Williams, Executive Director of the Ashwaubenon Performing Arts Center. “Collaborating on programs like this allows us to expand opportunities for high school students in our community, providing a supportive space where they can grow as dancers, connect with peers, and be inspired by the power of the performing arts.”
