Cracking the Serial Killer Code: A Chilling Evening with Dr. Katherine Ramsland

Friday, October 30, 2026 | 7:30 pm

Reserved seating | All seats $49, which is inclusive of fees

For over three decades, forensic psychologist Dr. Katherine Ramsland has studied and communicated directly with serial killers. She has heard them recount their methods and motives, reveal their disturbing fantasies, and explain how they evade detection.

In this gripping live experience, Dr. Ramsland takes audiences deep inside the minds of some of the most notorious killers, drawing on her extensive work with the “BTK” killer, Dennis Rader, and Elmer Wayne Henley Jr., accomplice to the “Candy Man.”  As seen in the 2026 Netflix documentary “The Idaho Murders: College Nightmare”, Ramsland was recognized as the former instructor of Bryan Kohberger, the convicted mass murderer responsible for the 2022 University of Idaho murders.

The evening offers a unique perspective; your ticket becomes a gateway into the minds of dangerous predators. This live show features compelling visuals, chilling insights, and an interactive audience Q&A.

Audiences will learn:

  • How individuals develop into serial killers
  • How they maintain seemingly normal double lives
  • What their behaviors can teach us
    And more…

About Dr. Ramsland

Dr. Katherine Ramsland is an author and a professor of forensic psychology. You might have seen her as an expert on some of the 300+ crime documentaries, talk shows, and podcasts on which she has appeared. She’s written more than 2,000 articles and 74 books, including Confession of a Serial Killer, The Serial Killer’s Apprentice, The Mind of a Murderer, and How to Catch a Killer. She was also an executive producer on Murder House Flip, A&E’s docuseries Confession of a Serial Killer: BTK, and ID/HBO’s #1 docuseries The Serial Killer’s Apprentice. Over the past three decades, she has worked closely with FBI profilers, detectives, coroners, criminalists, criminologists, cops, and attorneys. She blogs for Psychology Today and has also written crime fiction, including a series based on a female forensic psychologist who, like her, consults on death investigations. (Even her horse has a book, Sherlock Horse.) Having been mentored by prominent experts who studied killers like Ted Bundy and Edmund Kemper, Dr. Ramsland has used their insights to get the most out of talking to serial killers.
