The United States Concert Field Band & Soldiers’ Chorus

The renowned United States Army Field Concert Band and Soldiers’ Chorus kick off their national tour in Ashwaubenon, Wisconsin at the Ashwaubenon Performing Arts Center (APAC) on March 24, 2025 at 7:00 PM with a multi-media concert experience entitled “This We’ll Defend”, celebrating the United States Army’s milestone 250^th birthday.

Celebrate our Army’s 250th birthday with The U.S. Army Field Band & Soldiers’ Chorus, as we present “This We’ll Defend,” a multimedia concert experience. Since the Revolutionary War, “This We’ll Defend” has remained the motto of the United States Army. It speaks to the resolve of those who serve, from the Greatest Generation, to today’s Soldiers stationed all around the world. Celebrate this great nation and those who are sworn to protect it, as we honor military service–past, present, and future–through music and storytelling.

This concert is being offered free-of charge, though tickets are required to attend.
Please order tickets in advance.  A four-ticket limit per order is in place for this special event.
Printed tickets will not be distributed in advance; all tickets will instead be available for pick up at APAC Will Call beginning 6:00 PM day-of-show.  Please have the ID of the person who ordered the tickets available.

More About The U.S. Army Field Concert Band & Soldiers’ Chorus

The Concert Band & Soldiers’ Chorus from Washington, D.C. are the oldest and largest of The U.S. Army Field Band’s performing components. Founded in 1946 and 1957 respectively, these two ensembles combine to present joint concerts on their national tours with the mission to connect with Americans, share Army Stories, and honor Veterans as the official Musical Ambassadors of the U.S. Army.

These active-duty Soldier ensembles have performed in all 50 states and 30 foreign countries for audiences totaling hundreds of millions. The 60-member Concert Band and 29-member Soldiers’ Chorus perform regularly in some of the most famous concert halls in the world, and just as often in the humblest auditoriums in the smallest of communities. The joining of these two ensembles allows them to offer unparalleled versatility of programming, ranging from orchestral masterworks and operatic arias to Sousa marches, jazz classics, and Broadway musicals. The Band and Chorus also perform independently and have recently shared the stage with such ensembles as the Boston Pops, the Cincinnati Pops, the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, and the National Symphony Orchestra. In addition to their national tours, formal concerts, chamber recitals, and educational outreach, members of the Concert Band & Soldiers’ Chorus frequently represent the Army at formal and ceremonial functions, including the Presidential Inaugural Parade, presidential funerals, the Army All-American Bowl, and diplomatic efforts overseas.

Through performances in communities across the United States, The U.S. Army Field Band fosters a positive relationship with the American people, supports diplomatic efforts around the world and inspires future generations to serve.
