Generations Unite to Keep Everly Brothers’ Trailblazing Sound Alive at Ashwaubenon Performing Arts Center

One of rock ‘n’ roll’s most influential acts gets an encore this fall at the Ashwaubenon Performing Arts Center. “The Everly Set: A Celebration of the Everly Brothers” takes the stage on Friday, October 3, 2025, at 7:30 p.m. This special show features acclaimed singer-songwriters Sean Altman and Jack Skuller, who are keeping the legendary Everly Brothers’ sound alive for a new generation.

In 1957, a young Phil and Don Everly emerged to revolutionize rock ‘n’ roll and influence icons like The Beatles, The Beach Boys, and The Eagles. Now, six decades later, Altman and Skuller are honoring that legacy with dynamic performances that feature hits and rarities, such as “Bye Bye Love,” “Wake Up Little Susie,” “Cathy’s Clown,” and “All I Have to Do Is Dream.” Altman and Skuller are separated in age by three decades, but united in their unique ability to replicate the Everly Brothers’ airtight harmonies while bringing energy, humor and charm to the stage.

About the Performers

Sean Altman, hailed as “the Father of Modern A Cappella,” is a founding member of the trailblazing group Rockapella. He is also the co-writer of the theme song for the Emmy-winning PBS series, Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?.The New York Times has praised his “silky tenor voice that produced chills,” while the Washington Post writes he has “clever arrangements and lyrics that yield satiric gems.” Altman’s career has led him to perform at the White House and share the stage with stars like Billy Joel and Steve Miller.

Jack Skuller, who signed his first recording contract at just 14 years old, has earned a reputation for powerful live shows rooted in old-school rock ‘n’ roll. As a teen, he was a Disney recording artist who performed for thousands across the U.S. His debut single, “Love is a Drum,” was called “arguably the best single released by anyone [that] year” by The Examiner, and the New York Post compared him to Jack White of The White Stripes fame. The Songwriters Hall of Fame has also recognized Skuller’s talent by awarding him with the prestigious Buddy Holly Prize.
