October 7 Celebrate Sinatra tribute show to capture the emotion and sounds of the unique era when swing was king
Daddy D Productions will be taking audience members on a nostalgic journey through the ‘40s, ‘50s, and ‘60s with Celebrate Sinatra, a swinging salute to Frank Sinatra. The performance is set for Thursday, October 7 at the Ashwaubenon Performing Arts Center. Showtime is at 7:30 p.m. Sponsored by Heid Music, the event is part of the APAC’s Kroll’s West Local Series, a showcase of the amazing local talent found right here in Northeast Wisconsin.
Sinatra, known for his heartfelt voice, was one of the most popular and influential artists of the 20th Century, forging a career as both a singer and film actor. The pop culture icon was awarded an Oscar, eleven Grammys, and countless other accolades before his death in 1998.
Celebrate Sinatra relives the legendary performer’s remarkable, decade-spanning career, from his early beginnings as a crooner in New York to his years headlining in Vegas with the Rat Pack. Daddy D Productions will be performing a long list of hits made famous by the man fondly remembered as “The Voice,” including The Summer Wind, Fly Me to The Moon, I Get a Kick Out of You, New York New York, My Way and more!
What started as a group of friends with a simple idea, Daddy D Productions continues to operate on the founding principle of delivering good music, good friends, good food and good, clean humor!
Tickets to Celebrate Sinatra start at $30. Senior and student tickets are available for $27. To purchase tickets or learn more about this or other upcoming events, visit ashwaubenonpac.org or call (920) 494-3401.
