Acclaimed Clean Comedian Jeff Allen Brings Show to Ashwaubenon PAC

Stand-up comedy show shines light on marriage, family and growing up in the 1950s and 60s

Comedian Jeff Allen is scheduled to perform his one-man show, The America I Grew Up In, at the Ashwaubenon Performing Arts Center (PAC) on Friday, January 31 at 7:30 p.m. as part of the theatre’s National Series. Sponsored by Oneida Nation, the stand-up show’s rapid-fire, observational humor turns an unblinking eye on everyday family life. Allen offers his take on many topics, including the ups and downs of marriage, the challenge of raising children, the bliss of the empty nest (followed by unexpected returns to said nest), the joys of being a grandparent, and how America has changed since he grew up in the 1950s and 60s.

Known for being funny without profanity, Allen’s six-decade career has included performances at George W. Bush’s inauguration, the Grand Ole Opry, and U.S. military bases abroad.  He’s one of the most requested comedians on Sirius XM radio, and in addition to starring in a one-hour TV special, Happy Wife, Happy Life, Allen’s appeared on Showtime, Comedy Central, VH1 and more. In 2019, Allen’s Dry Bar Comedy videos went viral, introducing him to tens of millions of new fans worldwide.

Tickets for Jeff Allen: The America I Grew Up In start at $26, with subscriber and group discounts available. To purchase or learn more about this or other upcoming events, visit ashwaubenonpac.org or call (920) 494-3401.
